Pink Twins’ Overlook (2017) will have its international festival premiere in the international competition of Annecy International Animated Film Festival, held in Annecy, France, from June 12–17. Established in 1960, the festival is one of the most important festivals dedicated to animated film. Overlook is included in the programme “Off Limits”.
Pink Twins’ participation at Annecy is made possible by AV-arkki’s distribution.

Parametronomicon (2015) by Pink Twins is presented at EMMA, Espoo Museum of Modern Art in the museum’s newly opened high tech media art space. Parametronomicon is presented in uncompressed 4K format using a 12000 ansi lumen 4K laser projector and a special 17.2 channel Genelec sound system.

Infinity, the new interactive music release by Pink Twins now online at!

Infinity is based on Pink Twins’ studio recordings from the past decade. Using the massive archive as source material and providing an intuitive mixing interface, you get a chance to mix endless variations of Pink Twins music and share your mixes on your social media platforms.

Infinity was commissioned by Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art for ARS17+ and supported by AVEK, The Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture.

This summer Pink Twins are taking part in Daydreaming With Stanley Kubrick, an exhibition dedicated to the master filmmaker, at Somerset House, London. The exhibition is curated by James Lavelle and James Putnam, and features a host of contemporary artists, film makers and musicians showcasing works inspired by Stanley Kubrick. Pink Twins showcase a new animation work made specially for this exhibition.

The exhibition is open 6 July – 24 August 2016 at Somerset House, Strand, London.

New 10″ vinyl record from Pink Twins, Inwards to Infinity, will be out soon. The record features music made with defunensemble, the premiere Finnish group specialized in performing new electroacoustic music.

Side A features a single track, Before Forever, a piece for ensemble and tape, performed by defunensemble and recorded live at Musiikkitalo, the brand new Helsinki Music Centre, in September 2011.

Side B, titled Inwards to Infinity, is made of 50 locked grooves, mixing cello, flute, clarinet and harp by the defunensemble players with Pink Twins electronics. The locked grooves were presented in a multichannel installation in the recent Pink Twins exhibition at Galleria Sculptor in Helsinki.

Inwards to Infinity was composed, produced and mixed by Pink Twins in Helsinki during 2011. Mastering by Teemu Korpipää. Vinyl cut by Christoph at Dubplates & Mastering, Berlin. The record is a multi-coloured pink splatter vinyl, in heavyweight gatefold sleeve. Sleeve notes by Mikko Kanninen.

Before Forever, a new electroacoustic composition by Pink Twins, will be premiered by Defunensemble on Monday 12 September, at the brand new Helsinki Music Centre. The premiere performance is part of the opening concert of Klang concert series of new music.

Before Forever (for harp, piano, cello, flute, clarinet and tape) is commissioned by Defunensemble, Finland’s premier contemporary music group devoted to the performance of electroacoustic music.
